Introduction
The Stock Administrator supports the Stock and Warehouse teams in administering stock within InteliGro. This position ensures accurate tracking and reporting of batch numbers of products in line with company policies and compliance standards. By proactively monitoring stock movement and expiry timelines, the role contributes to minimizing financial loss, ensuring stock integrity, and supporting excellent customer service. This position is offered on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
Job description

Monitoring & Tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of all expired and near-expiry stock across locations.
  • Regularly review system reports and physical stock to identify potential risk items.
 
Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular reports on expired stock levels, trends, and root causes.
  • Highlight high-risk products and recommend corrective actions to management.
 
Stock Control & Compliance
  • Ensure expired stock is correctly isolated, documented, and disposed of according to legal, environmental, and company requirements.
  • Support audits and compliance checks related to inventory and product expiry.
 
Process Improvement
  • Work with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to improve stock rotation, forecasting, and ordering processes.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce future expiry incidents and improve product lifecycle management.
 
Cross-Functional Support
  • Liaise with warehouse, finance, and customer service teams regarding expired stock issues.
  • Assist in developing awareness and training for staff on expired stock processes.

Minimum requirements

Experience
  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience
 
Education
  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12
 
Skills
  • Must be computer and Microsoft Office literate
